ICEFA 2009 Prize Awards - Korean Republic, Soul, Pusan

Awarding ceremony for 37. Lidice 2009 was held on April 16, Friday, 2010 at 11:30 am at Pusan Art Middle School in Pusan, South Korea (http://www.pusanarts.ms.kr). For this event, Mrs. Michaela Vovkova, wife of the Czech Ambassador was attended and awarded medal and diplom to 4 students - Seon-Joo Lee, 13 years; Ah-Young Kim, 14 years; Hue-Ji Kang, 15 years and Won-Ju Youn, 13 years.

For this ceremony, threre were present a principal of school Mr. Kim Chang-kyu, teacher of art department Mr. Kim Jin-han, other teachers and about 50 students of the find arts field. The Czech embassy has usually held the awarding ceremony in Seoul, but for the first time, wife of the Czech ambassador visited their campus, so it was meaningful and we were warmly welcomed by teaches and students. Pusan Arts School is a middle school of arts- music & fine arts and was established in 1999. Number of students are about 300 and 120 among them are for the fine arts. It is located in Pusan, 2nd biggest city of South Korea and famous for beautiful beach and port. Pusan Arts Achool participated in Lidice competion for many years from 29. Lidice in 2001.
