ICEFA 2011 Prize Awards - Moldova, Chisinau

On 15 November 2011 the Embassy saw certificates being presented to Moldovan children awarded in the 39th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice. The certificates and gifts were given to Elena Ermurachi, Valeria Grama and Eugenia Jitari from Liceul Ginta Latină. The girls came in the company of their teacher and their parents. According to information by the pedagogues, the Lidice competition entered the awareness of local art schools only a few years ago. Liceul Ginta Latină promised to participate in the next edition of the competition, affirming its goal to receive the first prize, “Rose of Lidice” medal.
Materials about the next edition of the competition were handed over to the winners and their schools as well as to the Ministry of Education of Moldova, which passed them on to the art schools.
