ICEFA 2012 Prize Awards - Norway, Oslo

For the second time, the 40th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2012 had among its participants children from Oslo International School, of whom Renata Lovette (9 years) and Nicole Underwood (8 years) were awarded a prize.
On 5 December 2012, Ambassador Milan Dufek presented the certificates at a school meeting attended by the first school, i.e. circa 140 children, and the teaching staff. In his speech, Ambassador explained the tragic history of Lidice and the background of the exhibition. Having thanked all children who had sent in their entries, he invited them to participate in the next edition. It was only Renata Lovette who took over the prize because the other girl had moved away in the meantime. However, the school management will forward the prize to her.
