ICEFA 2013 Prize Awards - Norway, Oslo

As has become a tradition, among the participants of the 41st International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2013 were children from the Oslo International School, out of whom Helin Sorebo (8 years) and Erik Van Der Aalst (8 years) were awarded prizes.
20 November 2013 saw Ambassador Milan Dufek present the certificates at a school meeting attended by the whole junior school along with the teaching staff and parents. Having welcomed Ambassador Milan Dufek, Headmistress Janecke Aarnæs said that children from the Oslo International School are eager to participate in the competition; this year more than 160 of them made pictures on the theme "Traditions and Heritage of My Country's People". The management of the school showed interest to visit the opening of the exhibition in Lidice next year. The school vestibule had an exhibition of the copies of selected children's pictures that had been sent in to Lidice.
Having briefly mentioned the tragic history of Lidice, Ambassador Milan Dufek announced the record number of countries participating in this year's competition - they were 68 of them. Then he thanked all children who had sent in their pictures and invited them to participate in the following edition.
