ICEFA 2013 Prize Awards - Mexico, Mexico City

On 16 January 2014, the ceremonial room of the Embassy in Mexico City had formal awards of certificates to four Mexican children who had won prizes in the International Children Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2013.
On this occasion, the Embassy invited not only the child-winners and their parents but also their teachers from a Montessori school that is located in the district of San Jerónimo - Lidice and has been co-operating with the Embassy for some time now. In attendance there was the chairwoman of T.G. Masaryk Association of Compatriots Mrs. Edna Gómez, who introduced the guests into the history of relations between the Czech and the Mexican Lidice, sharing her experiences from her visit to Lidice and its gallery in summer 2013.
The prize-giving ceremony concluded with a joint dinner.
