ICEFA 2020 Prize Awards – United Arab Emirates

On 11 November 2020, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Abu Dhabi Jiří Slavík and Deputy Ambassador Oldřich Zajíček presented the honorary mention of the 48th International Children Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2020 on the theme "Landscape" to an award-winning student from the United Arab Emirates.
This year, the award was given to sixteen-year-old Muhammad Ali Abrar from the Pristine Private School in Dubai for photography. Despite very strict anti-covid measures in the country, the prize-giving ceremony could take place in person on the school premises. On this occasion, having thanked the teachers for their efforts and their support of the students who participated in the exhibition, Ambassador Jiří Slavík extended invitation to participate in the next edition of the exhibition, on the theme "Robot and Artificial Intelligence".
Thanks for presenting the award and promoting the exhibition. Our heartfelt congratulations go to Muhammad Ali Abrar! Hopefully, children and students from the United Arab Emirates will participate in great numbers in the next exhibition.
