ICEFA 2020 Prize Awards – Ukraine

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kyiv sent awards of the 48th International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2020 to children from Ukraine. Because of the continuing pandemic, there was no official ceremony at the embassy, the children received their certificates and medals by post, along with the invitation to participate in the next exhibition on the theme "Robot and Artificial Intelligence".
Ukraine is traditionally among the countries with strong participation in the exhibition. This year, we received 961 entries on the theme "Landscape", which received 7 medals and 39 honourable mentions. Medals went to the pupils of the Visual Art Center in Kryvyi Rih, namely Anastasiya Lunova, Veronika Olenikova and Sofiya Rybka. The school also received a medal for its collection of prints. The highest award in photography went to Photostudio My, Centr NTTM in Sumy and its student Yevhenia Tarasova. Ukraine also received a medal in the category of film, namely for the team of children from the Children and Youth Cinema Center "Vesnyanka" in Dnipro for the animated story Six Grateful Statues.
