On 9 December 2020, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mexico held a prize-giving ceremony of the 48th International Children's exhibition od Fine Arts Lidice 2020 in its indoor garden. A limited number of family members of the award-winning children and several honorary guests could attend the ceremony. Speeches at the ceremony were given by Mr. Ludevít Hrúz and Chair of T.G. Masaryk Association Edna Gómez, who had visited Lidice several times and is a Freewoman of Lidice. She expanded on the fate of Lidice, the significance and the course of the international exhibition as well as her own encounters with the survivors. The prize-giving ceremony was also attended by the teacher at the school Taller la Imagen sel Rinoceronte Ms. Orietta Aguilar, whose students send in beautiful entries every year.

The 48th exhibition received 196 entries from 5 schools from Mexico.
