ICEFA 2020 Prize Awards – Romania

This year, Romanian children received their awards of the 48th International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice by post, along with letters of congratulations from Ambassador Ms. Halka Kaiserová.
Over 200 Romanian children from 14 schools participated in the competition on the theme "Landscape", sending in 224 entries. Five participants from two schools received awards. Students of Liceul de Arte Vizuale "Romulus Ladea" in Cluj-Napoca impressed the jury with their near abstract landscape paintings; Cosmin Petrule received a "Rose of Lidice" medal and Mihaela Stetco a honourable mention. The second award-winning school is Asociata Culturala Arte.ro in Piatra Neamt. The students Alexandru Filip and Laurentiu Par received honourable mentions for their beautiful watercolours and Ioana Miruna Morte for a drawing of a city scenery.
