Results of the 50th ICEFA Lidice 2022

Dear teachers, dear children,

we have just published the results of the 50th edition of the ICEFA Lidice 2022! A total of 14,527 artworks from 77 countries entered this year's competition on the theme "MUSEUM". After careful consideration, the jury awarded 1,485 artworks with 1,551 awards, including 202 medals.

You can view the results of the competition and all the awarded works on the exhibition website.

Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to everyone for participating!

On June 2, the exhibition of all the awarded works opens at the Lidice Gallery and the traditional award ceremony and presentation of the "Lidice Rose" medals to children from the Czech Republic and the Jury Prizes will take place. Awards to participants all over the world will be distributed in cooperation with Czech embassies and consulates during Autumn-Winter 2022.

Invitation to participate in the 51st International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2023

We would like to cordially invite you to participate in the 51^st International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2023. The competition and subsequent exhibition is one of the largest in the world, bringing together thousands of children from all over the world every year. In 2023, 20 years will have passed since the adoption of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and it will be the 50^th anniversary of the organization International Dance Council CID (The United Nations of Dance) under the auspices of UNESCO.

The 51^st ICEFA Lidice will be dedicated to the theme: DANCE

The best entries selected by the expert panel of judges and awarded with medals and honourable mentions will be displayed at the Lidice Gallery at Lidice from June 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024. Some entries will be selected for touring exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The closing date is February 10, 2023! The postmark date on the consignment must not be later than 10 February 2022.  ATTENTION: Entries must be delivered physically to Lidice by February 24, 2023! Please, make sure that your postal service is able to deliver the consignment by that date. Please indicate the value of 10 Eur, consignments with lower (0 eur) or higher value are intercepted at customs and duty and VAT payment are required, which is not acceptable for the organizer.

We ask teachers to make a pre-selection of entries to be sent into the exhibition in order to create as good a school collection as possible.

The organizer reserves the right to use the received entries for other non-commercial exhibitions and charitable events and to reproduce them in print. The entries will not be given back.
