ICEFA 2010 prize awards - Thetford Grammar School, Great Britain
15. 9. 2010
On 7 July 2010 the UK hosted the 38th ICEFA Lidice 2010 prize award ceremony. The only British winner – Susanne Cobb – was awarded a honourable mention in the ceremonial hall of one of the oldest private English schools (founded in 631), Thetford Grammar School at Thetford in East England.
Curator of the exhibition Ivona Kasalicka presented the girl with the certificate and some gifts in the presence of the headmaster, the teaching staff as well as the students of the school.
The prize award ceremony affirmed the friendly relations between the Lidice Memorial and the school that had been established before. The fact is that the choir of the school visited Lidice in 2009 and gave a concert in the Lidice Gallery.
