ICEFA 2010 prize awards - DPRK, Pyongyang

The primary school at Ongchin saw representatives of the Embassy in Pyongyang presenting certificates and gifts to the young North Korean artists whose entries had won prizes in the 38th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice. Being thanked for their participation in the exhibition, also other participants could enjoy their gifts. The present pupils and representatives of schools were invited to participate in the next edition of the art competition. The troubled fate of Lidice and the long history of the exhibition were mentioned in this occasion.
