The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice is organized to commemorate the children from the Czech village of Lidice who were murdered by the German Nazis in 1942. Every year children from dozens of countries of all continents participate in the exhibition, well known in our country as well as all over the world. We will be pleased if you join them in accepting our invitation to the 38th edition of the exhibition. We are looking forward to all works we will receive.

Theme
The UN General Assembly at its 61st session declared the year 2010 the International Year of Biodiversity. This is a very potent theme, relevant to life in today’s world in which dozens of animal and plant species irretrievably disappear every day. It is the youngest generation who should be the most deeply involved in preservation of living nature because one day they will be entrusted to pass it on to their successors. Therefore, we would like them and their teachers to ponder and try to express in painting the meaning of the term BIODIVERSITY, or
