ICEFA 2009 Prize Awards – Philippines, Manila

Philippine children received the ICEFA Lidice 2009 prizes in December 2009. Miss Jerrica Shi received her prize and modest presents from Ambassador Josef Rychtar at the embassy of the CR in Manila. Miss Jerrica showed the Ambassador some photos from other international competitions she had won and presented the Czech embassy with a picture of hers showing mother and child.
Five child winners from the St. Stephen school were given their prizes and small presents by consul Monika Kazdová. The ceremony took place at morning muster, with over one thousand children present. The visit from the Czech embassy was a big event, which will hopefully result in ample participation in the next edition.
