ICEFA 2011 Prize Awards – Serbia, Belgrade

On 28 November 2011 the Embassy in Belgrade hosted the 39th ICEFA Lidice 2011 Prize Awards. On behalf of the organizers, the prizes of this well-known international competition were presented by Consul Valerie Füleová.
Honorary mentions were given to Dorotea Dolhai, Nevena Mijatović, Maja Rančić, Vita Miković, Laura Prole, Emese Tot and Relja Topalović. A certificate and a “Rose of Lidice” medal for the best art work sent in from Serbia was presented to Gorana Stojkov, a student of the Secondary Art School in Niš.
The laureates came with their teachers and parents. After the formal awards there was a showing of the documentary International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice.
Materials about the next edition of the competition were given to the winners and their schools as well as to the Ministry of Education, which passed them on to the art schools.
