ICEFA 2013 Prize Awards - Estonia, Tallinn

The year 2013, the 41st year of the ICEFA Lidice competition, was as usual successful for Estonian participants, who received a total of eight Honorable Mentions and one medal.
While in 2012 the Czech Embassy in Estonia organized an award ceremony for the winners of the international children's art competition Lidice at the embassy, in 2013 Ambassador Richard Kadlčák decided to visit the winning schools in person.
On 19 November, he visited Tibutare Kindergarten in Tabasalu near Tallinn, where he presented an Honorable Mention to Estonia‘s youngest winner, six-year old Taavi Roosar, and thanked his teacher, Mrs. Peebo Ave. On 26 November, Amb. Kadlčák visited the city of Kohtla - Järve in northeastern Estonia, where in the presence of the Mayor Mr.Yevgeny Solovyov at the City Hall he presented an Honorable Mention to Julie Krupštenkova, a Creative Kids Centre student, and thanked her teacher Mrs. Tamara Khandeshina.
On 3 December, Amb. Kadlčák visited the art school in Tartu. At the ceremony organized by the municipality, he presented a medal to the director of the school, Mrs. Eva Eesmaa. Then he presented Honorable Mentions to the six winning students of the school: Gree Hőbejärv, Eveline Mühlberg, Pärtel Repp, Vladislav Tomassi, Elero Vilja and Jelizaveta Voitehhovitš.
2013‘s 41st Annual Competition ICEFA Lidice confirmed the great interest among Estonian students and provided a very interesting way for Czech Republic to make an impression on this country.
