ICEFA 2015 Prize Awards – Switzerland, Bern

On Friday, 9 October 2015 the Embassy of the Czech Republic saw a certificate being presented to twelve-year-old Michaele Ligner from Switzerland, an awarded participant of the 43rd International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2015. She arrived at the Embassy with her younger sister. The certificate was presented to her by Ambassador Karel Borůvka, who, at an informal meeting, mentioned the tragic fate of the village of Lidice and the tradition of the children's art competition. Having appreciated the participation of Michaele in the competition, he expressed his confidence that the next year will see both sisters participating along with other children.
