ICEFA 2015 Prize Awards - Serbia, Belgrade

On 18 November 2015, the Marble Hall of the Czech embassy in Belgrade saw Ambassadress Ivana Hlavsová present prizes to the laureates of the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2015.
It was a very successful year for Serbia. There were 921 entries sent in by children from 70 schools and organizations, from which the expert jury decided to award 24 entries. Three children and one school received the "Rose of Lidice" medals while 20 children were presented with honourable mentions.
Ambassadress Hlavsová welcomed the award-winning children, their parents and their teachers. Having thanked them for their participation in this major children's competition, she wished them much success both at school and in their creative activity, giving them some keepsakes. She also used that opportunity to present the representatives of the schools with invitations to participate in the next edition of the competition.
At the end of the prize-giving ceremony, the children were given the opportunity to get the feel of Czech songs and dances through the performance of children's folklore troupe of Česká Beseda called Krušička.
