ICEFA 2015 Prize Awards – Indonesia, Jakarta

On 7 December 2015, the Czech representative office in Jakarta had a prize award ceremony in which the Indonesian participants of the 43rd International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts (ICEFA) Lidice received their prizes.
Out of 21,380 pieces of art sent in to the competition this year, featuring the theme ""Light"¨, five Indonesian entries won honourable mentions. The young artists received from Ambassador Ivana Hotěk not only the prizes from Lidice but also some keepsakes.
The guests could view all award-winning entries on a promotional DVD and get information on the "year cycle" of the Lidice contest; they were also treated to modest refreshments.
The ceremony took place in the presence of a member of the UN representation in Jakarta and reporters of the state TV channel TVRI, who will prepare a report for the popular children's programme Arena 1 2 3. Through their mediation, the head of the representative office invited broad participation in the next International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2016 on the theme "School? Education!", which celebrates the 70th anniversary of UNESCO.
