ICEFA 2015 Prize Awards – Croatia, Zagreb

On 18 January 2016, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Zagreb in co-operation with the School Museum in Zagreb organized formal awards of certificates and medals to children from Croatian schools who had sent their artworks on the theme “Light” to the
43rd International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice. The 43rd edition received 374 artworks from 48 Croatian schools, with 15 pupils being awarded a prize. Besides the winners, also representatives of the schools, pedagogues, art club leaders and the parents attended the prize award ceremony.
The award ceremony was opened by Curator of the School Museum Ivana Dumbović while Director of the museum Branka Manin gave a warm welcome to the guests. Then Ambassador Martin Koštka took the floor and then proceeded to present medals and certificates to the prize-winning artists. He also presented tokens of appreciation to art teachers and art group leaders who had provided guidance to children in their creative efforts.
