The introduction word was taken by the director of Miiamilla children's museum Mrs. Pille Rohtla and then the ambassador Gabriela Tománková. She welcomed all the participants and thanked the children for their participation in the International Children's Art Competition Lidice. She briefly mentioned the sad fate of this Czech village, from which, despite all this, came a beautiful and meaningful initiative in the form of this successful art contest with international participation. Subsequently, the Ambassador handed over the medal including a small winner's diploma and three diplomas to the other winners. In addition to these awards, Czech gifts were prepared for the winners. Thanksgiving and little attentions has also been given to the parents of the children winners and their teachers. Among the winners were three little girls from the same Tallinn kindergarten, Täheke, whose art teacher was also present, and a very talented sixteen-year-old girl from Tartu. The Ambassador invited the participants to participate in the next edition of the competition titled Water (over gold). All the girls were touched when a small girl from an artistic family, when she performed with her picture, which she had not been able to attend this year's ICEFA Lidice and gave her to the ambassador. Throughout the cultural event, the children were provided with a large painting entitled "Lidice Competition 2017", where each child could contribute to their pictures. The painted canvas subsequently served as a backdrop for children's photography.

The Czech children's day continued with a number of activities that the Czech Embassy prepared for children with the support of the Toy Team's professional team. Children could learn more about Czech culture and history through an educational game with a quiz at the end. The smallest of Czech animated fairy tales were shown, for the older ones, a "language cafe" with Czech language teaching was prepared. For a few hours, the premises of the museum became literally in the "Czech Kingdom", where Czech children's songs sounded, balloons with a heart shaped Czech flag fluttered, children with painted figures on their faces and hands in the colors of the Czech flag, the walls of the museum looked up to Charles IV , TG Masaryk and V. Havel, the children were coloring the Czech coloring books at the table, etc. Besides the mentioned activities, the Czech embassy also prepared home-made refreshments, which in their colorful design made a smile on the face of many visitors.

It can be said that this children's event, which was visited by 60 visitors, was very successful and had a positive impact on both children and adults.
