ICEFA 2017 Prize Awards - Moldova, Chisinau

On September 27, 2017 Ambassador Z. Krejčí visited Igor Vieru Art Gymnasium where, in the presence of the Deputy Headmaster of the Grammar School, Cristina Chilaru, he presented the awards to the participants of the 45th International Children's Art Exhibition Lidice 2017.
This year a total of 107 students from three Moldovan schools participated in the competition with the theme of traveling, with a prize for five students of the grammar school Igor Vieru: a medal and a diploma received by the student Natalia Fostica, students of Ghenadie Bivol, Olga Cravtov, Stefan Mocanu and Dumitru Timpu.
In his speech before the students of the grammar school, Ambassador Z. Krejčí informed about the historical background of the international exhibition, which was founded to commemorate the children of Lidice. He thanked the assembled students for their participation and invited them to take part in the next year of the competition, the main theme of which is water. The management of the grammar school and the award-winning students handed out catalogs of completed year and information materials to the newly announced year of the competition. Discussion with students and educators contributed to the promotion of the Czech Republic.
