ICEFA 2014 Prize Awards - Tunisia, Tunis

Almost 28 thousands art works from 77 countries were submitted to this year’s International Childrens‘ Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice, which had an opening at the Lidice gallery in May of this year. The competition’s theme was "Family Farming, or Our Garden and Field". A jury of experts awarded over 1500 of the best works. The Czech Embassy is delighted, that Tunesia is also represented among the winners.
The Czech Embassy is pleased that once again the Tunisian children proved their artistic talents in such a large competition as this year‘s ICEFA Lidice. On November 13th, eleven-year old student of Ecole Pimaire Rue de l´Inde Elementary School in Tunis, Fadoua Jouini, received an award for her painting. The ceremony took place on the premises of the Czech Embassy at the presence of her school and family. We congratulate Fadoua and invite her to participate along with the other children in the 43rd running of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts.
