ICEFA Prize Awards 2014 - Estonia, Tallinn

In December 2014 Ambasador R. Kadlčák handed out honourable mentions to three Estonian participants of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2014, namely to Maikele Dolgin from the Tartu Childrens Art School and to Marie Kallau and Madli Pajos from the Pärnu Art School.
The year 2014 saw the 42nd running of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice, which is one of the Czech Republic‘s most important competitions for promising young artists from around the world.
This year the jury had been selecting the best works from more than 27 thousand entries thematically focused on two topics: "Family farming" and "Our garden and field".
Estonian art students‘ works were awarded in this year competition, as they have been every year in the past. Ambasador Richard Kadlčák was pleased to hand out the awards to the following young artists.
- Maikele Dolgin (16) from the Tartu Childrens Art School
- Maria Kallau (12) and Madli Pajos (15) from the Pärnu Art School
We would like to congratulate the winners, their teachers and parents, whose support was necessary for the children‘s success. Our thanks also go to all the other participating children and students, and we hope for further fruitful collaboration with Estonian schools.
