ICEFA Prize Awards 2014 - Bosnia and Hercegovina, Sarajevo

On 15 April 2015, HE Jakub Skalník, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina, presented certificates to three children from the Vuk Karadžić school whose entries had been awarded a prize in the last year's International Children's Exhibition of fine Arts Lidice. Going in for art under the leadership of Njegoš Arnaut, the three pupils – Vanja Bjelanović, Budimir Dupljanin and Srdjan Stanišić – created a very good print featuring the theme “Family Farming – Our Garden and Field".
Last year, the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice saw a record number of participants: there were sent in to Lidice as many as 27 868 of entries from 77 countries. Out of that, 79 were sent from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Besides the school in Vlasenica, also schools in Priedor, Novi Grad and Sarajevo participated in the competition.
