In September 2016, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kazkhstan Eliška Žigová presented 44the ICEFA Lidice 2016 awards to two prize-winning children from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).

In October 2016, while on a business trip to Usť Kamenogorsk, Deputy Ambassador at the Embassy in Astana L. Steinhübel presented certificates to the winners of the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2016. The ceremony took place in E. P. Slavkovskij Children's art School, pupils of which have participated in the competition for more than ten years.
In the presence of local media, the parents and friends of the school, two pupils were presented with certificates (Alina Vereikina and Medina Amirgizina) and one young artist with a certificate and a commemorative medal. Her name was Olesia Novikova.
The deputy ambassador gave interviews to local TV channels and journalists, expounding on the history of Lidice and the competition.
