ICEFA 2016 Prize Awards - Indonesia, Jakarta, Singapore

On 31 October 2016, the hotel Conrad in Singapore hosted the prize-giving ceremony of the 43rd and 44th International Children's Exhibitions of Fine Arts Lidice for the participants from Singapore.
The16 participants in total in either of the editions received their prizes from the hands of Czech Ambassador to Jakarta Ivan Hotěk, who, going beyond the historical context of the exhibition, mentioned in his opening speech an indirect link between Czechia and Singapore in the person of A. D. Cooper.
The guests could view all award-winning entries and were treated to modest refreshments.
The ceremony took place in the presence of Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Singapore Kwee Liong Seen, whose support enabled the event to take place. The present pupils, parents and teaching staff were invited by Ambassador to participate in the 45th International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice focused on the theme "Travel".
