ICEFA 2016 Prize Awards - Cyprus, Nicosia

This year students from Cyprus took part in the Lidice competition for the first time. Sofia Kostrikis, age 11, from the American International School in Cyprus became the first awarded Cypriot participant.
Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mrs. Helena Bambasová visited the school to hand over the honorable diploma and to congratulate Sofia on her success. She expressed hope that even more students would be encouraged to take part in the ICEFA in 2017. The AISC students submitted most of the 22 works from Cyprus registered in 44th edition and Ambassador Bambasová therefore thanked the AISC Director Mrs. Michelle Kleiss for her strong support of the project.
