ICEFA 2016 Prize Awards - Montenegro, Podgorica

A prize-giving ceremony of the 44th International Children´s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2016 took place in Montenegro city of Podgorica on Tuesday, 20th December 2016. Diploma and medals along with other gifts were presented in the local school Osnovan škola Savo Pejanovič in the presence of the management (Darinka Adžič, manager), teachers, children and their closest relatives. The same afternoon other certificates and materials including invitation cards to the next year competition and small gifts were presented in Montenegro city of Cetinje (vrtič Zagorka Ivanovič). Within the presentation of the Czech republic in the mission country, information and promotional materials about Czech rep. as a traditional and interesting tourist destination, were handed over.

At the Montenegrin Ministry of Education a meeting with  competent representatives of this field took place. In connection with the invitation to the new edition of the contest Marko Vukašenovic on behalf of the department, has already sent out a circular note (also by email) to every school in the country well in advance to provide them with basic information on the conditions of the participation in ICEFA. The Representative office Podgorica has repeatedly thanked the Ministry for their mediation.

Concerning this year´s prize-giving ceremonies and invitations to the next ICEFA Lidice it can be repeated that the participants, school management teams, art teachers and children themselves, especially outside the Montenegrin capital, accept the visit of the Czech Embassy representatives positively. During the time of these events brochures and leaflets about Czech republic are distributed. The materials were given to the Embassy in Podgorica by Czechtourism.
