ICEFA 2016 Prize Awards - Croatia, Zagreb

On 1 December 2016, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Zagreb in co-operation with the School Museum in Zagreb organized formal awards of certificates and medals to children from Croatian schools who had sent their works of art on the theme School? Education! to the 44th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice. As has become a tradition, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Croatia cooperated in organizing the event. The 44th edition had 380 entries by children from Croatian school and awarded 21 Craotian children.
Besides the winners, the prize-award ceremony was attended also by representatives of the schools, pedagogues and the parents.
The ceremony was opened by Director of the Museum Branka Manin. Having mentioned in his speech the reason why this international competition has been held, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Vladimír Zavázal expressed his thanks to all participants as well as their parents and teachers for their participation and congratulated the makers of the awarded entries. After that he presented a medal and certificates to the winners, extending appreciation to their teachers for their valuable work.
The present children and representatives of the schools were invited to participate in the next, 45th edition of this international contest.
