ICEFA 2016 Prize Awards - Brazil, Sao Paulo

On 15 May 2017 a prize-giving ceremony at Colégio Santo Ivo in Sao Paulo took place. A student Thomaso Alvim was awarded an Honorable Mention achieved in the 44th edition of ICEFA Lidice.
Part of the event was a panel exhibition “Lidice Tragedy” which is a topic that Brazilian students of basic schools in Sao Paulo are learning about nowadays.
Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Sao Paulo would like to thank Mrs. Mirna Ibrahim from Colégio Santo Ivo for her support through which the students from the school take regularly part in the competition and Mrs. Maria Luiza Malina who selflessly co-ordinates the involvement of many Brazilian schools in the competition.
Colégio Santo Ivo was awarded an Honorable Mention this year for a film entry by 12-yrs old Thiag Falcao – he is the one sitting in the last picture.
