ICEFA Lidice 2022 Prize Awards – Brazil

The jubilee 50th edition of the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice brought a record number of honourable mentions to Brazilian participants. A total of eight works sent from Brazil were awarded this year.

In this year's competition, 17 Brazilian schools and three individuals participated with a total of 225 works. The expert panel of judges awarded eight of them with honourable mention. Mylena de Souza Rabelo, Emanuelly de Souza Silva and Anna Beatriz Ferreira Dessupoio from Escola Municipal Dr. Augusto Glória in São João Nepomuceno received honourable mentions for their artworks. The diplomas were ceremonially presented to the students on August 30 in the local cultural center in the presence of all the children from Nepomuk who participated in the jubilee edition.

The other five honourable mentions went to students from the Colégio Santo Américo in São Paulo. Rebeca Cury, Juliana Godoy, Valentina Lunardelli and Sofia Vidal received their diplomas from the hands of Mr. Miloš Sklenka, Consul General of the Czech Republic in São Paulo. The collective work of students Dante Salvia de Almeida, Francisco Giongo Flores Araes, Gabriel Bertino Vellerti and Victor de Carvalho Terzian was also awarded. The presentation of these honorary awards took place on September 20, 2022 in the school's auditorium.
