ICEFA Prize Awards 2014 - Russia, Yekaterinburg, Khanty-Mansiysk

On December 20th and 21st, 2014, the Czech Consul Mr.Oldřich Sommer, appointed as Head of the General Consulate Yekaterinburg, paid a visit to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area (KhMAA). The main purpose of the visit was to personally deliver the Notification of Appointment to the Czech honourary Consul Dmitrij Alexandrovič Mizgulin, stationed in the area’s administrative center of Khanty-Mansiysk, on the occasion of expanding the region he oversees over the next two years.
Consul Sommer used opportunity of his trip to deliver awards to the ICEFA Lidice 2014 winners from the Children Art school in the Khanty-Mansiysk. On his visit to the school he was accompanied by the advisor to the KhMAA Governor and the Head of Protocol Department of the Khanty-Mansiysk Bank. In her speech, the school’s Headmistress T.V.Lykova expressed appreciation for the Consul’s presence and thanked the Czech Consulate Yekaterinburg for its support of activites as well as the prizes awarded to the students, who were also part of a cultural program prepared by the school. Consul Sommer contratulated the school for its participation and great results achieved in the Lidice 2014 art competition. He invited children to participate in the following 43rd running of the exhibition, www.mdvv-lidice.cz, and presented a diploma for profesionally orchestrated work with students to the Headmistress and the special areas teacher L. Kašapova.
